Looks like we have some people that know the difference between the two NISMO exhuasts. Which one is better? The S-tune or the OEM off the NISMO car? What are the gains over stock on each?

The stock Nismo Z exhaust is a H/X pipe design...almost a true dual design. Typically these are good for low/mid range torque and power gains. The Nismo S-tune variation follows the stock Y-pipe design with bigger piping and a different muffler. There are better alternatives to this. Since we're talking actual USABLE power, I would say that the stock Nismo Z is definitely better than the S-tune exhaust due to the differences in pipe design. |

I just got rid of my Nismo S-Tune...and yes..the aftermarket is better than the real Nismo exhaust. It does have better gains but nothing to brag about...which is why I recently got the F.I.
![]() *edit* The S-Tune is better in sound...only has I think 7hp gain. I was only told is was better from the parts guys at Nissan..he explained but I didn't really listen becuz I originally purchased the ACTUAL Nismo but they intalled the wrong one Last edited by SophiaZ; 05-16-2010 at 04:28 PM. |

Asking for $1300 isn't even the funniest part. It's that he's offering to deliver it "for a fee".
