Took it to a wheel repair shop, they confirmed that the wheel had inner hub damage and the owner of that garage who must've seen thousands of these showed me a small crack which could result from an impact like the wheel hitting the curb or pot hole.

What does "poor packaging" mean? Did the box look damaged? Any pics of anything? And did he try to refund you for the wheel?
