Ok, here's the deal. First, I should've just called mag_black to discuss instead of texting. Texting is so informal and can be taken the wrong way and taken out of context. Just to make sure all the facts are laid out, yes- there are several addresses on my paypal account. Unlike most on here, I do not frequently look at this forum and did not see his PM's as to when the springs were sent after I initally sent him the money. It wasn't until they didn't arrive that I thought about the addresses. My initial text were not meant to be blameful, only to state that I thought that he may have sent them to the wrong address. The text was taken the wrong way, obviously, and that's when it escalated. It was not my intention to put the blame initially or solely on him. It was a text of 'S#@T, what do we do about it'. I even said that in the following text. Had I not been at my job, I would have called. It was not until I was told I was basically rude and that it was on me to clear it up with Fedex that I got heated over it. And it wasn't until I talked about posting here that I was left on my own to clear it up that he later offered to help on his end. I even left it at that, said I would do all the work trying to track it down and fix it and to have a nice day, but that I would let people here know about it. Again, just the facts. I felt hung out to dry. I'm sure most of you would feel the same... Again, it comes down to communication. Texting sucks. To mag_black, thanks for calling fedex. Hopefully it can be resolved. If not, you just got a $200 discount on your coilovers Enjoy

There is always 2 side of the coin.
Hopefully you both able to resolve this issue. Which appears both parties are trying to resolve. Which is in the good spirit of the Z community Happy Selling and Buying to all! Until Andrew decides to sell me his M7's coils for dirt cheap! Man I love those coils. |

E21, it escalated because you came out w/ blame. We have the texts if you want to show people. You think I'm helping you because you were going to slander my name here? Now, you see why I didn't want to help you.
Your first line of defense was to state, "you shipped to the wrong address". If you'd handled it differently, I would've helped you, but then threatening to slander and sue me is just over the top. It seemed like you weren't in the wrong, and I was. That's my problem. Remember, I don't have to do anything about the situation. I think you're forgetting that. edit: I've kept every end of my bargain. I uninstalled them when I said I would, I professionally packed them, I shipped them out when I said I would.

Wow, it appears that you either can't comprehend the idea behind me saying texting can be misinterpreted, or you are truly just a mean person. Did I not state that I did indeed state that I said 'you shipped it to the wrong address'? And then stated that I did not intend to place blame?
And yes, you told me to call myself and handle it because it seemed you took offense to the text. Like I stated, texting is not a good form of communication as things can be misinterpreted or taken not as it was intended, which still seems like what you'd like to still do. Your angry is still palpable. I feel there was no anger in my post to all of this. And yes, the fact is that you did not intend to help nor, as you put, help for gas, until after I stated I would post s about the situation. In fact, in the mist of our texting, you posted this thread to beat me to it. Again, as I stated, it was not my intention to place full blame on you. It was a knee jerk response to the situation. |

Alright, I want this to be done and over w/. I've called FedEx and they will be contacting you via cell, I've waived all my rights so you will have to deal w/ them. I no longer have anything to do w/ the process.
edit: good day and let's not ever deal again -- for both our sakes

Be careful dealing with *ICE*
Hey all,
So a few weeks back I had worked out a deal with a forum member *ICE* in Las Vegas to buy his mag blue ce28's and center caps for $2500 shipped to me in southern california. http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1410228803 He was nice enough to accept a payment plan, and I paypaled him $700 that evening. Fast forward a week or so, and when it comes time to send him the second payment, he sends me this: http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1410228892 Now I had no reason to believe him and I felt bad, and told him I hope he gets his wheels fixed soon and to let me know if he decides to try to sell the ce28 again in the future. Andrew (DEpointfive0) and I are friends and I had been keeping him updated with the whole situation. He thought something was up and texted the guy right after I told him what happened. The conversation went as follows: http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1410228994 So all in all, *ICE* lied to me and it took him 3 days to refund me my money. He claimed he didn't have access to the internet, but he had his phone and was texting me and posting on the G forums the whole time. He did eventually refund me my money, and I was waiting for that to happen before calling him out on his shady business dealings. *ICE* told Andrew that he could pick up the wheels this coming Saturday if he put down a deposit. And after I called him out, this is what *ICE* said. http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1410229353 Please be careful when dealing with this guy. He didn't scam me, but just want other forum members to know who they're dealing with here. |

Very shady. Why not just tell you the truth that someone offered more and he is backing out of the deal. Then give your money back ASAP and not have to chase him down.
Glad you got your money back.

Interesting.
Not that I defending the guy, but sometimes it works in reverse. Buyers back out because they get a better deal. People just have no integrity now days.

I am currently in the similar situation with my stock wheels.
I made a deal with a guy from out of town. I agreed to cover the shipping costs as part of the original price. A few days later I received a PM from a guy that was local and he wanted to pay the full price and pick up the wheels. I told him that I already gave a word to someone and I intended to follow through on my promise. He started laughing at me and said that I should lie to the original buyer and tell him that I decided to keep the wheels. Even though I am loosing $200, plus the pain to having to pack the wheels and ship them, my word is more important to me, so I ignored the offer from the local buyer. I have also had a seller sell the item to someone else, just as I was in the process of arranging payment. I just put him on my ignore list and so I don't have to deal with that guy again.
