Looking for mechanic SoCal area
Hello everyone, I’m looking for a mechanic in the Los Angeles area or surrounding to get some z1 shorty headers installed. Any recommendations?

For basic stuff, I like Precision Z in Canoga Park
For tuner, nobody is better than Specialty Z...also in Canoga Park Neither is close to SG, sorry. |
someone mentioned L-Spec in Torrance/Redondo Beach area. I haven't used them myself but you might want to look them up. I think the owner is on the forums here and owns or owned a Z.

Corner 3 Garage
22701 Granite Way Suite B, Laguna Hills, CA 92653 They work on a lot of vqs they have worked on my 350z in the past and currently my 370z so I have been going there for years. JER Development 14905 Dillow St, Westminster, CA 92683 I had them replace my engine in my 350 when I had it. They have good prices if you are on a budget. Linn is not limited to nissans he does all cars. |
curious if there's a good one in the San Gabriel area? Thanks.

Crazy I read that on Yelp as well, I was planning on going to Tek One Motorsport he works with Tony from SoCal Z but it’s in Riverside. If I don’t find a convincing shop near I’ll just take the drive up there. Thank you guys for all the recommendations Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Sebastian @Specialty Z is not too far right? Between Los Angeles and Long Beach i believe

Its not just about doing the initial install. You have more mods down the road so it is more long term than you think. Any tech can install headers. What you need is a garage that know your car inside and out plus someone who can tune your car for the best output. In this case, its Specialty Z in Simi Valley.

I’ve read nothing but good reviews from Specialty Z but the thing about my headers is that I need to get the flange cut and welded first and they have a guy that does those jobs but I will have to leave my car there for a day so I’ll have to pay like a storage fee. Once I get an exhaust shop to do it for me I’ll most likely head out to specialty Z to get it installed and like you mentioned they can tune it there as well which is a major plus Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
