Rare 370 RC Exhaust
Looking to finally part ways with my exhaust off of my 370. This is the official RC exhaust off of the Nissan factory made Nismo race car that raced in the US. The exhaust is a single sided exhaust and is in excellent condition. Pictures of the exhaust and videos of what is sounds like are below.
My asking price is $3,000. I am in the Cincinnati area and local pickup would be ideal. If it needs to be shipped the buyer will need to cover shipping costs. Here is the header back CAT delete pipes. https://i.imgur.com/nKkiF.jpg The header dual pipe into the single Y pipe connection. https://i.imgur.com/MqURX.jpg The muffler. https://i.imgur.com/ZqL4C.jpg Here is a photo of the muffler from the back, the mesh is a muffler based cat for weight savings. https://i.imgur.com/4SOBL.jpg https://i.imgur.com/CRG6Q.jpg Here is a video of the exhaust at startup and idle. And a few flyby videos.... (on closed roads of course). |
Woaaaah.... this is a unique set up. Why the cat cell in the muffler tip? (besides weight saving)? Sound? Emissions?

Can you upload a more recent video not only showing the exhaust, but audio of it as well? The audio in the current clips are a bit lacking.

I ended up sticking a couple HFCs in place of my exhaust tips, with a dual exit exhaust, unwrapped, just to see how well they worked. While they don't get hot enough street driving to do their job, they get hot enough at the track that after a session and I pull in, there isn't any smell. Just this this as a fun little experiment.
With wrapping and a single exit, it'd work even better. Super cool to see these pop up. They rarely ever do. |
Coupled with PPE Headers, this might be the interesting combo I was after.
