Anyone dumb enough to part with their 2015+ nismo seats?

Picking up a 2014 Nismo and after testing a 2018 Nismo, I can't live without the seats.

if your willing to pay and arm and a leg they come up for sale often on ebay. from what i understand the juke nismo seats are the exact same and can also be made to work

The jukes have a different color layout and will work with modifications. And they're harder to find than the nismo's and more expensive.

Yeah, I've seen the Nismo Juke seats, a bit different.

The only thing I liked about the 2018 Nismo (2015+) is just the seats. Im not a fan of the body kit. Cost to go v1 Nismo front bumper + stupid expensive chin spoiler, rear, spoiler + paint..

if you want aftermarket seats get them from ebay around $295 anyways everything is made in china even recaros, i was in the same predicament as you and bought these for around $400 they are not originals but they look good and feel good.

Look, if you want to purchase cheap garbage for your car then that's fine and good luck because I really hope you'll never need it. BUT, do yourself a favor don't go spreading BS about where items are or are not made if you have no clue (and it's very clear you do not).

thanks for the advice. when i need more wisdom i'll ask you about buying expensive garbage and who cares that are made in Germany because of that are they better?, maybe some are made there you are right but even BMW's are made in china so don't come and tell me that crap.

It is seen that you are a resentful person who is offended by a simple post, you totally diverted the topic of this thread, who started it wanted seat options and I simply gave my opinion but you started to throw s***t, everyone is free to buy what they want. Well, if you have the money to buy those seats anyways good for you with that photo I can see that you do not have good taste, those seats will never look good more than in the evo X. Fatso is right. He didn’t trash you for wanting expensive seats but you sure did trash him for cheaper seats... it is all opinion if you think the recaro is better quality/value and even if more people share that opinion with you, doesn’t make his opinion any less valid. You just handled it horribly. Been there

It's not "resentful" to call people out on the dumb sh*t coming out of their mouths. You recommended cheap, knockoff seats to a person who created a thread looking for OEM Recaros (not "options", a specific seat). Then, your remark about me needing to "keep saving" for Recaros backfired because jokes on you (bet you weren't expecting that :rofl2: ). Finally, you mention good taste while rocking knockoffs... and not even the "I had to look close to notice they weren't real" knockoffs?? I understand taste is subjective but :gtfo2:

First, I called his seats what they are, which was being honest. Then, I made a follow-up comment to a joke someone else made about him being cheap.However, I was also kind enough to wish him good luck with them... twice. Second, not once did I say his opinion was invalid or even so much as imply it (except right above in regards to his "good taste" comment).

In regards to your comment: those $400 seats he purchased were not made to the same standard(s) as any authentic Recaro (even the ones made in the Chinese factory). So yes, real Recaros are a better quality seat (fact not opinion). On the other hand, his seats may actually be the better value... if his life is worth $399 or less.

NissanTracker - Cyber Auto Parts, Inc. (on Facebook) and socal_z_parts (on Instagram) have posted recently about acquiring some 2015+ Nismo's that they will be parting out. There was a third entity with another 15+ being parted out in one of the Z groups on Facebook as well but I don't remember the seller's name/info. His post was relevant in the fact that it offered an alternative to what the OP was looking for. Although not a very good alternative, his initial intention was to provide another choice for seats when you guys trashed on his post. You can be a dikk in your threads but when someone is genuinely trying to help/ provide information in there’s no need for that.
If you’re proud of that behavior so be it, but I think it’s counterproductive for the forum and overall irritates me because there’s no need for the negativity. I appreciate expertise but also appreciate decent people

Thanks a lot Wuero370z for stand in, well I guess everyone is right, he wasn't asking for seat options just gave my opinion because my seats are also recaros (fake or not they are recaros) just wanted to advise this guy about buying other seats but ok i just wanted to share my opinion, anyway of course if you have the funds would be better to get the real thing always, i just didnt expect such a reaction from the forum, alright i am cool i'm not looking for trouble. Lets be cool everyone and enjoy our rides.

Sorry everyone, work got super busy and just checking back. Sooo, yeah... looking for just the OEM 2015+ nismo seats. Appreciate the other options and the facebook listings. Still looking.

Most of the manufacturing of Recaro seats for cars I thought moved mostly to Poland. High end recaro seats for Porsche, BMW, etc.. are still done in Germany. Recaro in China looks to be for airlines.
