VQ37 Built short block
I have for sale my VQ37VHR built short block (so no heads). The block was cleaned, decked and bored to 96mm with a torque plate. Crank was cleaned, polished and checked for straightness. Weisco 96mm pistons w/factory compression and BC forged rods. Assembled with all new Nissan bearings. Rotating assembly was fully balanced. All machine work, measurements and assembly was performed by Mazworx in Sanford, FL. They are a great shop with an amazing reputation as engine builders. Built botom end also comes with full Nissan engine gasket kit, new water pump, new oil pump, arp head studs and main studs. (main studs installed). If you have any questions or need any additional information contact me at any time.
SOLD

I can give you the shortversion because it was a rough road getting to this decision. Basically I hit a point where I do not want to spend the money anymore on the build. The largest reason at this point is I will have a newborn here in the next couple weeks. But that has been the number one question lol.

I wouldn’t push past 650 if you want to be safe. Still an open deck. Yes of course you can make over 800whp. The head sealing will be a issue. You can buy a brand new long block for 3k. I would call mazworx and get more details if you’re serious.

Actually I owned this motor while my car was boosted. It was my insurance for when the motor would eventually blow. So all pricing and parts were expected. My issue has been 2 seperate "professional" shops that have sold me bad heads and a bad motor here in the Tampa area. The shop that sold me a bad motor i currently have a date in small claims court for a breach of contract. And the second that sold me the cylinder heads i had sent to mazworx and they came back as all valves except 1 failing vaccum test. This place states mazworx is wrong and not they heads they sold me. Not exactly a rabbit hole issue just dont care to spend the money when i have a baby coming in the next couple weeks. I own my Nismo outright and i dont mind finishing her at a later time.

Yeah it was ZFever so i didnt believe him at all. Just so everyone knows I at no point have doubted Mazworx for even a second. It has just been other local shops and people that have made me want to put the build on hold for a while.

He was the only one that had a set of heads near me. They visually looked good but mazworx proved that wrong. Other than that I avoid him at all costs and this is just another example of why.
