It was probably an inch or so lower than stock but keep in mind that was without using the siders. So, if you needed the adjustability you probably wouldn't gain any clearance. I can put the seat in when I have some free time and take some measurements.
It is worth mentioning that with custom "L" brackets you could likely lower it significantly. There is a log of room on the brackets that could theoretically be removed. |

Installation is easy. Since the bracked is in four pieces, and the base isn't connected, you need to line everything up in the car and then take it out and tighten it down. The seat keeps you planted and still offers decent leg movement. If you have never used a fixed bucket then getting in and out takes some getting used to. I did not install a resistor to trick the airbag light, but I am fairly certain it isn't hard to do.

Seat holds you well... not sure how else you'd like me to review it. If you have any specific questions let me know. The seating position is comfortable and natural. I'm 6'3, 38" and it is tight on my hips. Went back to the OE seats. |

For those interested, I have the Zeta III size regular and L and had the chance to sit in the Type XL at SEMA.
The regular Zetas will really only fit folks who are sub 34 waist sizes, and those at 34 will be a squeeze. I'm around 34 now, and had a jacket and a belt on and the Type XL was very comfy, and had a bit of breathing room. Hold is fantastic, and the Cusco collab seats have a microsuedish type of fabric that feels MUCH nicer than the typical fuzzy fabric that Recaros and regular Brides have (what most race seats have). The fuzzy fabric is made of looped ends that really catch and hold on to anything. Like down from a puffer jacket for example. The fabric in the Cusco Brides are open ended and don't hold on to things as a result, making them far easier to clean. Hold is excellent. Only thing I'd add for long trips would be a lumbar cushion for your lower back.
