Default VALENTINE v1 Radar detector w Mirror Mount

Have a Valentine V1 radar detector with Junk K band fighter for sale. Comes with the mirror mount and mirror link power cable so you can run everything from
just the mirror assembly and don’t have to run crazy cables from the cigarette lighter.

Pretty much brand new. Had in my Z for 4 months. Never got a ticket either despite going way too fast almost all the time. Sold car so have no use for this any longer.

They’re about $400 on eBay and mirror mount is $25.

Asking $350 OBO.

How/where does this connect on the mirror?

See the second to last photo I posted with the mirror mount card and photos (sorry it’s sideways), but it has a clamp with screws they holds the detector in place. It is attached behind the mirror on the “stub” thing (that attaches the mirror to the front windshield) and then drops the holder below the actual mirror (shown in photo) so you get a clear view of both the detector and the mirror).

Perfect spot for the detector because it shoots out the back window too (the valentine can distinguish whether radar is coming at you from the front and back and tells you which direction you are getting shot at from).

It stays on very solid, doesn’t make noise but I’d adjustable.

Let me know if that helps!

Bump for an amazing radar detector. I have the same one and stand by it 100%, has saved me so many times. One of the best on the market.

I'd honestly buy it for my other car if I had the extra cash.

Thanks for the bump man! Yea zero complaints here. My buddy does triple digits on the regular and hasn’t had a ticket in 4 years. That’s what sold me

No, it is mounted directly under the mirror. It does not touch the windshield. See photos above.

They also make mounts for on the dash and under the hood but neither of these kits are included in the package I’m selling.

So even on base model cars is there a still an electrical feed in the mirror to tap into? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but the price of one speeding ticket fix to save me from future headaches has me super interested.
