FS: Stock NISMO exhaust (with less than 1k miles on it)
Ok, I just bought this exhaust (and I love it), but after seeing the HP gain the BERK CBE has with Berk HFC's (which I have), I am forced to reconsider my choice...
I want to get in on the 2nd group buy of the Berk CBE's, but in order to do that, I need to sell the NISMO exhaust. Now, just so that people know and understand, this is not the after-market exhaust you can buy from Nissan. This is the STOCK NISMO 370z H-pipe exhaust (true-dual) and not the after-market NISMO S-tune y-pipe. Before I got this exhaust from our very own, motoextreme, I was thinking it would be the S-tune y-pipe and I was pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't; this is True-dual, peeps! Also, I was concerned with the fitment of the Stock NISMO CBE on a stock 370z and again, there was no fitment issue. I am asking $700 (shipping included) for this bad boy. Retail price is $1200-1300 for the NISMO S-tune CBE, at various other sites. If you already have HFC's, this guy sounds really nice. Not too loud cruising, but AWOT, it comes to life! I've gotten plenty of compliments on this set-up. Even my S2k buddies were pretty impressed; initially, they thought I was crazy for going with NISMO with all the other exhausts out there... Heck if Berk CBE's didn't exist, this sale wouldn't even be happening! Just food for thought... If you're local (Tucson or Phoenix Met.) and interested, I would be willing to help with the install (with a few beers and pizza or tacos, of course!). So first come (with payment), is first served! Thanks for looking! P.S. I never dyno'd the set-up, however, my "butt-dyno" very much liked the results. As with most of these set-ups, the gain really felt to kick-in toward the middle of the power-band (about 5.5k-6k), which is also when this set-up really started screamin'!

it's been said that the 18hp difference on the nismo vs reg Z is split down the middle: 9hp exhaust, 9hp tune. haven't seen anything to prove this though. also, that's at the fly

Thanks for the input and for looking, guys!
It's no biggie if it doesn't sell... I just would like to match my underoos top, to my underroos bottom, if you know what I mean...; having Spidey on your bottoms and the Hulk on your top is cool, but it would be cooler if it was All Hulk (although, Spidey is pretty bad@ss, too)!

Ouch!
Well how much I payed for it, is a long story and this is how it goes... I saw moto was selling his Stock NISMO CBE here on the forums and did some quick research. I found the NISMO S-tune (which is not this exhaust, which I didn't realize at the time) and quoted him the price i found and then compared hp #'s to an FI CBE and offered $500, thinking I would work my way up to about $600 (not including shipping). After talking to him a bit, I told him I was glad I finally found a good deal on an CBE because I couldn't afford the $1200 plus CBE's everyone else was selling, since my wife was 3 months preggo (at the time) and money was tight... Then he did something un-heard of... He offered me his stock NISMO CBE for about $200 less than what I quoted him! He said that he was ok with his finances and that he was happy to help a fellow Z'er out, especially one with a baby on the way. Moto's a great guy and his word is as good as gold. I also, wouldn't even dream of selling this exhaust without his blessing, which I have. So, there it is, long story short... I know that telling everyone this, may keep people from buying the exhaust, but why lie about it... Integrity and honesty wins you friends and that is worth more than any amount of money in the end. -Cheers!

Let us know how the Berk CBE is. I waited as long as I could for it to be released before committing to my Stillen. I love my exhaust, but I'd definitely be buying the Berk right now if I hadn't done it yet.

If I sell it, it's only to get the Berk CBE, no other reason. I still need to come up with the other $400 for the Berk, but I will be a man on a mission then because I'll be without an exhaust again!

Just a quick note...
I did not represent it as an S-Tune exhaust but simply the one off my stock Nismo. I really did not know there were two different ones however I've heard numerous times that its better then stock. I couldnt tell you why for certain??.. (didnt really spend much time on it.) If you opt not to use it and sell it for less, I'll help with the loss although I thought it was a good deal at the time. No worries either way. Not trying to make money off the board guys but simply recover some of my Mod spend, if I can help someone out in the mix then that's even better. Selling sh$% on the board is difficult, the after SALE customer service is a bit$%. LOL!!!

Thanks brother...
Appreciate the kind words. Fact is I hate sh#$ cluttering up my garage so I'm a bit more selfish then you think OK...you guys caught me! I reported the car stolen and now I'm just selling off all the parts. When you see my car all over the board when its done, its going to be just a cardboard cut out
