System Performance Gains: I believe Nissan has stated this system is responsible for approximately 50% of the power gains between the base and NISMO 370Z. This equates to approximately a 9 horsepower gain (results may vary depending on your car). This system also adds a slightly more aggressive exhaust note. The tips are larger, and in my opinion look much nicer than the base tips.

General Information:
Up for sale is a 2009 NISMO OEM cat-back exhaust system. I purchased this system mildly used in early 2010 from another forum member. If my memory serves me correctly, the system had approximately 4,000 miles on it at that time. It was on my car up until this past summer. I put approximately 10,000 miles on it. In total, the system has approximately 14,000 miles on it. During the time it was on my car it was garaged for 6 out of the 7 years. The one year without a garage, the car was always covered when not being driven. My Z has NEVER been driven in the snow and has only been driven in the rain about 5 times. The car is a garage queen, is immaculate and only has a total 18,000 miles on it. What I’m trying to say is the cat-back system is in fantastic condition. I replaced it this past summer with a Fast Intention TDX system.

The system comes with the three main pieces: Muffler, H-Pipe and resonators. It does NOT include the rubber hangers. The buyer will need to either reuse their current hangers or purchase new ones. I will try and locate the original hardware and gaskets. If I can find them, I will include them, but I would recommend the purchase of new gaskets.

At this point I would prefer local pick-up. I live in the Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC area and I’m willing to meet the buyer in the general vicinity to make the sale.
