black mirror covers
Willing to buy black mirror covers in good condition!!
|
also interested if your trying to sell the whole mirror.
|
Don't have any to sell.
However, here is a FYI on how best to install them(if you find them). Do not use 3-M tape that is usually provided with cover. Seal All adhesive that can be found at most auto parts stores&hardware... is perfect. You do not want any thickness of adhesive tape. Best to have both surfaces mate perfectly. Seal Tite will do this. It is pretty much a contact cement in a tube . Use a stiff brush to apply to both surfaces and let set a bit. Press&hold for a minute--done. An extra on using Seal All vs 3-M tape, you can slide it around a bit to position. The only negative, this stuff is permanent. Cannot be removed. Also,be careful not to get any on surrounding surfaces. Will mark the surface. Mask around... Good luck |
Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely install them that way.

Why not just have your mirrors wrapped?
|
Well poop. I've got a pair of Brilliant Silver mirrors to get rid of.
If you squint really hard, they would look black. :roflpuke2: |
Yea I was thinking about getting them wrapped but I want more of a permanent approach. Like how the new nismos are.. just minus the red stripe. Lol

Yea just testing the waters to see if anyone has any to get rid of. Then I have both black and white and not waiting for a shop to paint and driving around with no mirror covers lol. Trying to bypass the hassle
