I think it's the same as the middle of seats, alcantara. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Does not come with the switches, although they are easy to find on ebay. For example:

Are these any more comfortable than the base model cloth ones?

How hard to install or are they even compatible to connect w base 2010 model.

In my opinion, definitely more comfortable. Drivers side is fully adjustable, lumbar support and such. I'd have to do some reading on the hookup. Presumably they'll bolt right in, but you'll need some kind of connection for the heating elements and controls.

Ok, don't care for the heating as do not have the buttons but, sure would need to adjust w buttons on side of seat.

Post 11, looks like it's plug and play! You'd need to rig a couple switches for the heating elements, but the main stuff should function.

Thanks for the link. Don't care for the heating switches as we have plenty of heat here in Texas. Let me look tonight as to what wires if any are under my seats.

100% plug & play. The base model has all the harnesses and plugs that are required. The switches are available from West Covina Nissan (nismoshop.com I think). You will need to add a couple of fuses and a relay. The link to the FSM is in SouthArk370Z's signature.:tup:
