Bump

Just curious, what will the ballast be needed for?

cooltoy 02-01-2017 05:27 PM

An HID must have a ballast to work. They provide a very high voltage spike to ignite the lamp itself. From there they maintain the arc and are at very high voltage and frequency.

Slambone 02-01-2017 05:30 PM

Oh ok the reason i asked is because if I'm not mistaken mine have factory HID's. Didn't know if that was interchangeable.

These do not include wiring, ballasts and bulbs. You will need to scavenge them from your current headlights to make these work.

Gotcha gotcha. I'm curious if you could wire up the halos to the DRL wires that I cant use anymore haha.

Yes you can wire the halos to your existing drl so when you switch your drl on the halos come on. Please also note that the halos are switchbacks. Other words, it doubles as a switchback turn signal. wiring for this is already done in the headlamp. You just have to splice into your turn signal wiring to complete it.
