The pic above is literally taken in my living room and actual mirrors BRAND new :). I pin striped those and my APR carbon splitter. If you don't like the stripe it peelsoff. I think it adds a nice touch.

Oh and as for visibility you actually gain due to the width of these. So the annoying "blind" spot with cars upcoming in aline behind you you will see with these. As well as makingleft hand turns and seeing curbs etc and not looking around the mirror.

This price is cheaper and will get to your door in a faster time than from the vendor.

Also if you need help to install these I am easily reachable on here or can message you. I can literally swap both sides mirrors in about 30 min and that's painters taping part of the door so no scratches could occur.

The door panel comes off in 3 min, 3 bolts and I have a tool I got at the autobody store to pop the panel pins off. SUPER easy

Is the base frame plastic?

The base on these is aluminum I believe. It's metal and it's light so must be aluminum. They are painted matte black.
