Custom Subwoofer Box with Focal Sub

Contemplating... part of me wants the 10" thump but can appreciate what you're saying and was considering doing 8" custom box behind the seat but seems like a good deal

I agree with BLK, 8 inch is the perfect size for the Z. My 10, even shallow and pretty low powered is way too boom-ey for the space.

I'm just not willing to waste the trunk space lol, my custom box is behind my seat on the ledge.

have pics of your box? I have a local shop building me a box for 2 - 8" flush behind the seats below the bar similar to this:

Installed custom 8" sub box

That would be way cooler than mine.. mine is just a rectangle sitting behind my seat i made myself. 1 peice of MDF and an hour of work with carpet glued on.
I'd still be a little worried about putting stuff on top of those subs tho.

This box fits in that odd unusable space in driver side corner of rear trunk.
Does not sacrifice any cargo space.
I don't have any installed pics as I sold the Nismo.
Box fits perfect, carpet matches interior perfectly...looks OEM.
