So just to answer a few questions I received. From what I found on the internet this knob is authentic. It has a M18 threaded hole with a white plastic insert which means it was produced after '07. The threads are steel opposed to brass which is used on fakes. Again this is info I found after doing a quick google search.
In regards to the condition and scratches I'd compare it to having swirl marks in the paint of your car. I'm sure a microfiber cloth and polish would shine it right up. As for the weight the buyer I bought it off from the forum stated it weighed 168 grams or .370lbs. Haha 370, a quick internet search shows a range of .3-.5lbs. It's a heavy knob for sure. Pics below of the insert. If anyone can confirm the authenticity I'd appreciate it. I'm pretty sure it's real.
