GLWS!!! The AEM intakes are good along with any Z1 product! If the breather hoses were Blue I'd take them off your hands haha
I have the Nismo R-tune Long tube CAI and don't get the MAF signal thrown that needed correcting. I don't know if its something that was included with mine though. had it shipped to my shop originally
Again GLWS!

If you have the same intakes just email Aem and tell them you have the old boxes and you need the updated ones. They have a lifetime warranty on all this stuff.

Still a life time warranty doesn't matter who owned them they don't ask for proof of purchase or anything. Email AEM and tell them your correction boxes are not working properly and that they are the Cal number 41-1001-01 they are on -02 now. The ones I have still say 01 because they used old stickers but they are the new cal and they work as they should.

Here is my Email chain that got me the new computers.

My initial email:
"Good morning,
I purchased your AEM 41-1001P Electronically Tuned Intake a little less than a year ago for my 2010 Nissan 370Z. I just recently started having issues with the Mass Air Flow signal correction units. It is causing the car to cut out frequently. I have researched the issue and found that this is the source of the problem. I know there is a lifetime warranty on the intake system. Please let me know the steps I need to take to remedy this issue.

AEM Reply #1

"Thank you for contacting us about your issue, the internet can be a double-edged sword when researching problems so I’m glad you contacted us. The issue we’ve had with most of these reported is people install the wrong kit in the vehicle, the 370Z and the 370Z NISMO are different and require different ETi modules to function. I will need to know if you have a NISMO 370Z, if you do the proper intake system would be the 41-1002P.

If your vehicle is a non-NISMO model please provide the calibration number on the side of the ETi module (AEM-40-1001-XXX), there may be an update to the module as well. I look forward to assisting you Fred, thanks again for contacting AEM."

My Reply
"Hi Troy,
Thanks for getting back with me. The modules both have Cal. # 41-1001-01. They had been working with no issues for about a year. I did a lot of shopping before going with AEM, I have used AEM products in other vehicles I have had in the past and have been happy with them. "

And Finally again from AEM
"
Thanks for the information, I appreciate it!  The ETi modules have been updated for your vehicle *(370Z – NON-NISMO)* to 40-1001-002, please provide your address (AEM cannot ship to P.O. Boxes) so that I can place an order for your new modules and spare part kit. Thanks again."

I replied with my info and received them in a couple days!

You should be able to get the computers pretty easily if you just email them like I did. You might go through the web page to start or just Email Troy and tell him that someone gave you his info regarding this issue. Just pretend you have the old ones and they will send you new ones!

Bump for Presidents Day, the intakes are still available!

Bump for Tuesday. AEM has these listed for 2009-2011. I am trying to figure out why they would not work for a 2012+ the only thing I can think of is the oil cooler may be in the way but can not confirm this yet.
