I am currently working on a "one-of" steering wheel for our Zs. It'll be done in about a week or so. I'm trying to gauge the interest in making these custom wheels for our Z community on a made to order basis. I am also a Z enthusiast and I understand how pricey some of the upgrades are for our Zs so I decided to make some good quality wheels at an affordable price.
There will be 2 options

Option 1 - $400
This option would consists of only re-upholstering the wheel w/ fabric of your choice with no modifications needed to the steering wheel itself.

Option 2 - $500
This option will be the same as option one but with the ability of reshaping the wheel itself (i.e. flat bottom, flat top, modified thumb grip size, or any other idea the customer has)

**CF Add-on - $100

**Multi-Color Stitching - $20

GLWS! I have seen a handful of these custom steering wheels come up and they all have great interest!

I sold the one I had on here in no time.

What kind of fabric or company will you be using? I can always try to get you a better deal with almost any company I carry myself.

I have interest in this as well. I would like a flat bottom wheel but $1k plus for a stock modified wheel from other people is a little much for me.

I'm really interested, will there be a core exchange option tho? and if so can we get urs then send ours back after the install of the new one for ppl that DD there car

yes, core exchange will be needed. A $100 refundable deposit will be needed before I send the wheel out. I'll be refunding the $100 after I receive a tracking number

You may want to get this approved prior by an admin as this would be marketing as a Vendor/Business. Just a heads up

flat bottom, the little racing stripe thing at the top (Red, Blue, Silver, Black, Grey, whatever you can get your hands on), and alcantara, maybe the option for contrast stitching (to match the stripe).

Okay the first one I'm working on will be a flat bottom, new sides with perforated black leather and possibly cf on top and bottom

u should make a list of the ppl on this thread in order to message when ur ready to start cuz if u said tm to me ur gonna start making them. I'm ready to pay u. I've been looking for awhile for someone to do this... CF element won't do it without cf top and bottom

Yeah, I would be interested in a flat bottom with modified thumb grips... Just a little deeper like the Personal steering wheels. How do you actually go about that? Just curious

Pretty much just molding it to the style. So if you can think it, it can happen

I was always curious is someone could add a type of spacer to bring the wheel closer to u like i telescope steering column, but instead a set size like 1" or 2"

Yea, that pic looks nice; I'd love a Flat Bottom, CF Top/Bottom and padded grips (extra padding on stock leather if possible & contract stitching (to match rest of contrast stitching in car)).
