Custom Carbon Fiber Hatch Enclosure and Box Setup

Selling my hatch/sub enclosure. Due to the new air ride system (4 gallon tank with 2 compressors) I am redesigning the hatch so selling my prior setup. The center carbon fiber piece will have some holes due to the nitrous mount or a nice plack with your name engraved. This could be hidden with an air tank or compressors if somebody is running airride.

3-piece hatch setup with Carbon Fiber and Alcantara. The carbon fiber sub box and the plexi-glass. $1,500.00. Can ship at buyers expense.

The center is mdf wood fused with real carbon fiber. The sub enclosure is mdf wood fused with real carbon fiber. When you look through the plexi glass, you can see the carbon fiber. All carbon fiber work done by Carbon Signature.

The enclosure was built to fit a 10' JL Audio W7 and HD Amp. I am willing to sell the entire setup at an additional cost if interested. Nitrous components not included.

11/12/2015: DUE TO SEVERAL MESSAGES WITH SIMILAR QUESTIONS, I AM ADDING THE FOLLOWING DETAILS:
The Sub box drops right into the spare tire hole. It does have two brackets on the outside at the bottom of the box that u screw into the hatch to keep the box from sliding around.. Other than that, it is all removable by hand without tools except to disconnect wiring.

The amp msrp is around 1k, the sub msrp is around $630, the enclosure msrp is around $4,000.00 with the carbon fiber work and alcantara. I am willing to sell the entire setup for for $2,600.00 3-piece hatch setup, Sub Box, W7 Sub, 900/5 Amp and Ill include the white LED's as well. I can ship but buyer pays shipping expense.

I have my airtank for my cup kit mounted in the spare tire area I wonder if this setup would still fit. My tank isn't that big. Just not sure if I want to deal with selling my sub and everything to but I will keep you posted.

TerribleONE 11-10-2015 02:53 PM

Do you know the dimensions of the sub enclosure?

Carbon_z 11-10-2015 02:54 PM

You could powdercoat/anodize/polish the tank and place it where the opening is ;)

The sub box should be whatever JL audio recommends on their website:

Front Baffle Thickness 1.0 in / 25 mm

External Width (W) 14.5 in / 368 mm
External Height (H) 14.5 in / 368 mm
External Depth (D) 15.375 in / 391 mm
