I really wouldn't mind just having the axleback portion I had this exhaust on my old car. Only thing I didn't like was the Y pipe design. Would have loved

I really wouldn't mind just having the axleback portion
 I had this exhaust on my old car. Only thing I didn't like was the Y pipe design. Would have loved an X or H pipe. It's a great exhaust though and a steal for $700

So you can just replace the oem muffler with this one without any modification? How does it sound and any hp gain with just replacing the muffler without the rest of the pipes? Thx.
