Probably would still happen with Gen 2 if you are lowered.

I have the Gen 1, lowered on BC coilovers.. Can confirm both sides of mine are pretty much filed flat. The good thing is that once it's been scraped enough it'll stop scraping! It can take a lot of scraping before it starts leaking. Free bump!

So much for the claims that FI sits higher than stock lol and not one person ever scraped a stock exhaust.

What are you upgrading to D?

I don't think there has been any claims that it sits higher.

It sits at the same height as the lowest point of the car. The only difference is that the lowest point of the exhaust is in a different location (relative to where the wheels raise or lower the car when going over bumps), which makes more prone to scraping when lowered.

I am pretty sure no one scraped an FI exhaust at stock height (unless they did something that is not recommended when going over a bump).

Honestly I don't consider anything a significant upgrade over this. Except maybe amuse. But combined w my non res test pipes, the sound is deafening Haha and the gf does not like. And I don't want to lose the flow so stock cats is not an option. I'm thinking m7 or berk at the moment
