I came up on a white TT-S last night and it was looking sharp...and I generally hate white cars. If Toyota doesn't deliver with the goods with the new Supra I think that will be my new daily driver (TT-RS). I would rip those f**king "back seats" out just on principle though even if there was no weight savings. The hatred I have for 2+2 seating is strong

New TTS is a very nice car. Looks more like a mini R8 now. It's pretty damn quick in stock form too. A few mods and that thing will fly.

Just get the TT-RS! 5 cyl, 400HP, 354lb-ft AWD. It does look like a mini R8, I agree.

I love the car but it'll be around 75-80k with a couple options. At that point i think I'd rather get a 1 year old gtr.

Actually I think they're spec'd out from the start. Where the RS3 has an options list and doesn't have all the goodies here in the US (think Premium Plus as a start), I think the TT-RS is already going to come in "prestige" form. The virtual cockpit, MMI nav, and B&O will be standard so there won't be much to add. I do know there's a dynamic plus package that includes the fixed sport dampers and carbon ceramic front brakes. That's the one big option but I'd live with the iron rotors most likely.

But I get your point, and I agree, not much of a stretch to a GT-R if it kisses $70K.

Meh, get a 997 Turbo at that price.

I'll take the 911 all day everyday over a GT-r or anything in Audi's line up.

Well porches are for douches so makes sense lol

DCNISMO 04-12-2017 10:07 AM

buy a 997 turbo manual for 60 to 65K..five years from now....its still worth close to that. A Q60 for 60K now...might fetch 35 K then.

2017 Infiniti Q60 3.0t Red Sport review | CarAdvice

The Q rated a 7. How can today's modern sports car be anything more with electric or drive by wire steering, or brake by wire, no useable handbrake, no mechanical LSD, center if gravity getting higher and higher, while chin spoiled are getting wider. Cars are getting longer and heavier.

These cars all suck.

I'm just wondering what you wouldn't choose over a GT-R? You tend to prefer a GTR over everything posted. :rofl2: :icon17:

Nothing. Homo goes GT-R over everything.

Ape Factory 04-19-2017 09:11 AM

I'm very much a doubting thomas on this one and I'm sure it'll be so sky high in terms of pricing they'll get laughed at. And who wants a 4,000+ pound 500hp GT coupe with a dubious non-performance AWD system (which is nothing like the GT-R's)? Especially when it's more expensive than the competition and not nearly as fast/dynamic? If they had actually come out with an all-new chassis, engine and drivetrain, we'd be talking. One out of three is bad. Hope I'm wrong.

I don't like what he says about the new management either. Doesn't bode well for a new Z of any report if at all.

Koenigsegg.....but there's a little price gap there lol

NissanFreak81 04-19-2017 01:51 PM

It's about time they built this thing. Will pretty much be a C63S only better looking.
