Yes the mustangs are fast cars no doubt but the Z is a very quick car and with that being said our Z's are getting down there quicker but not faster. It's a drivers race as I said stock for stock and it's usually reaction time and launch that the Z excels in thus that .5 second advantage at the tree results in a win. So yea it becomes a drivers race between these two. The last mustang I raced ran a 13.1 to my 13.5 but I got the win. Hope this makes sense to those who don't race.
