honda called the next day 'ken, good news, come on down we will take your offer!' and i told him too late, i already have a brand spankin new Z in my garage..lol he said to go return it (joke, he's sold me like 5 hondas in the past). :icon17: |
btw, 5yrs ago the price difference between the cr and my 6mt base-sport was like $3K or so with the Z being more expensive.
honestly if i had a choice to buy a new CR or 370Z today, i would still take the Z over the CR... and im not a "NissanFan" :ugh: |

The S2k is a great car. I love driving my brother's. It's more of a "tossable" car like the frs/brz, but with a bit more hp. The engine is definitely pretty anemic though, especially in torque when you compare it with the 3.7l. I always redline my brother's s2k wondering when the power is supposed to kick in... I would honestly have had a hard time deciding between a new s2k and a new 370.
The 370 is definitely faster on a track, but the s2k is much more lively. The convertible part of the s2k should be part of your decision. Driving that car with the top up is miserable. Multiply the 370's blind spot by like 3x. the s2k engine is pretty reliable though, if you can manage to find one that wasn't owned by a ricer. |
