Goodbye Z, Hello 335i MSport...

Brand new 2014 335i MSport with all packages and options available :happydance:

Note: The Z was awesome but was just having too many weird issues that 3 different dealers couldn't diagnose and Nissan Corp didn't want anything to do with....

vividracing 11-12-2014 06:00 PM

Tune, down pipe, intake = 130hp gain. The beauty of having a turbo motor :happydance:

Congrats. Hope you have better luck with the beamer.

My cousin just got his bought back. Seems to be a recurring theme with the x35i motors and even more so the 335 M-Sports

Whatever floats your boat buddy!

Tadpole 11-12-2014 08:36 PM

Nice car and congrats!

RAMOS 11-13-2014 09:23 AM

Beware of the high pressure fuel pumps in those cars... They are very notorious for going out early... I had two go out in my 135i within the first 30k miles. Nice car though.

zaimer 11-13-2014 09:40 AM

Congrats! She is a beauty :yum:. Sedan though? Going from such a raw sports car to a four door seems like quite a jump. The 335i M's are fairly fun to drive.

Mitco39 11-13-2014 10:10 AM

They are beautiful cars. This is the mrs's. Tune, DP, and Intake and it will demolish a stock Z. This one is Xdrive and can on occasion spin all the tires leaving the line.

Thanks everyone.

The HPFP issues are mostly resolved now, they were huge issues in the N54 twin turbo motors, mine is the N55 single turbo. It's brand new so I have plenty of time for the warranty and I think they increased the warranty on those to 70k or 100k if I remember correctly.

It was a huge jump going from a 2 seater roadster to a 5 seater sedan but it's actually not as big of a difference as you may think since the 335i has lots of power, specially low end torque. Also never had a sedan before, its a very nice middle ground of having both practicality and sportiness in one car.

I was always a BMW hater before getting this, but honestly like they say, once you try one of these youll know why they are such amazing cars.

Mitco39 11-14-2014 09:34 AM

Do you have the auto or a manual? We have the auto and did the apexi flash on it this spring and it is single handedly the best thing we done to that car to date. The way that car shifts now is amazing, and the rev matching downshifts make the car sound just that much better.

yah bimmers have that special something in their cars. and i like that you got the m-sport trim, not the poorman's wannabie trim.

kenchan 11-14-2014 10:40 AM

its really those wannabies that lease bimmers that have that doucheness personality, imo..

8spd auto, it already came w sports shifts since I have the msport , the shifts are insanely quick similar to a dual clutch tranny...

Ive never heard of the apexi flash but I do know that some people do coding for beemers to change any parameter (add bluetooth, add sports shifts, auto close mirrors etc...)

kingcobra 11-15-2014 02:22 PM

Thanks everyone for the congrats!! I'll post more pics when I get a chance, I recently got it tinted w Huper optik all around 30% :D

MagmaRed370z 11-15-2014 02:42 PM

Awesome ride. Be careful with leaks. Those BMWs are a freaking pain when they leak oil.

m4a1mustang 11-17-2014 10:01 AM

Congrats! We have a '13 M-Sport.

The apexi flash is over and above the paddles, she has the Msport as well. Only its the E92 N55 not the F30 so she tells me anyways. Google Apexi flash N55 and you will see what im talking about.

We've also played around with coding on her car. The best option we turned on through that was the ability to both open and close all the windows in the car with the key fob.

Driftomodachi 11-17-2014 03:08 PM

Good luck with the reliability there

Nice. I cross shopped used 335i's with my Z. Love me some turbo action but couldn't get over the fact all new BMWs look alike to me.

That was my first choice of color but unfortunately they didn't have that color and they gave me an awesome deal on the white one that I couldn't pass up!

Nice Car! I'm loving my M235i too! As for the HPFP, you are correct, that was on the N54. My wife's Z4 HFPF went out at around 8000 miles. The replacement one has a 100k warranty

Man, I must say you have a very nice "stable", very good choices there! Assuming the m235i replaced the z4?
