In terms of looks, the ATS is very vanilla. Somehow GM thought the CTS design could keep going but in reality, having been mostly unchanged since 2005... The ATS should have had a completely new design, or needed some seriously aggressive character lines on the side panels.
But the performance capability is undeniable...
