to each their own... that's why they make different types of everything in life... the new mustang looks ok... i like the looks of the camaro... to me, the z is sexy as hell... and my personal preference is a 2-seater... would love a corvette and my dream is a viper but they're currently out of my price range... don't hate... just love what you love

Ok I think I can chime in on this because I have both cars in my family I (2014 370Z Tour/Sport) and my brother's 2014 5.0 GT/CS
Power: Well we can't argue with that, the V8 takes it. I'm not going to point out the extra liters and 2 cylinders, let's just say the Mustang is more powerful. Handling: Stock, the Z takes it man...not even close. (We've autocrossed them both so I believe this is a credible assessment) Interior: I used to hate the mustang interior, but with the Premium Fastback the interior is actually quite nice. I would say comparable to my Z. The instrument panel though, that old school tach and speedometer is just not doing it for me. Looks: Well I gotta be honest, my brother and I were either going to get the Z or the 5.0. It was just a matter of who get's what first. And I was able to get my hands on the Z first, so he chose the 5.0. And I would've done the same if he got the Z first. I would say they are both nice cars with different talents and characteristics. But there's something about driving the Z compared to the 5.0 that makes me feel just a tad bit more special. I love the lines on the body of the Z, flared fenders, that fat ***...I'm an *** man so there you go! and to the TROLL...May I ask what do you drive? A true car enthusiast will not "hate" on another car but admire the differences that it offers. It's like saying you love animals but only likes dogs and cats but not birds and marine animals. |

Oh and to get the Upgraded brakes, Bolstered seats, Torsen LSD, and 19" wheels...the 5.0 comes out to about $40k...So it's really not that much of a bargain from the fully loaded NON-Nismo Z
