Also, if the "car is in the shop all the time" than how can "their warranty be useless"? If it's in the shop, wouldn't you be using the warranty?

For me the warranty was irrelevant because I knew I'd be modding the car beyond simple bolt ons. The free service was nice though.
Good enough for me... DSM is what they were calling motors back when liked some Mitsu/Dodge cars. I was going to buy an Eclipse GSX, but I just didn't want to deal with all the BS behind those motors and the transmissions were ALL crap.

That's why I bought my Z.
