Been on the Corvette forum and there's a lot of issues with the C7. Great car performance wise but I wouldn't touch it till the 2016 model year at the earliest, so GM can get a majority of the issues sorted out.

Huh...no mention of Car & Driver's loaner Vette blowing the motor up with 6000 miles on the clock

I've owned three Corvettes, I love those cars.

I wanted a new Stingray. But the 370z was way cheaper. I could have bought a pair of 370z's for what I would have spent on a Stingray. Plus I like to modify things, and the 370z is great for that. Or maybe I'm just getting older.

GM requiring dealers to stop sales/deliveries of affected models.
The two issues are that for some cars, are that the airbag could become detached from the steering wheel in a crash event and, second, regarding parking brakes not working properly because one of the parking brake cables was not installed properly.

No parts for the airbags yet.

Glad it is caught at this early stage and GM taking the responsible step of halting sales. Managing bad publicity at work and protecting the brand.

Guy I work with, ordered a '15 vette the first of this month. I've been sticking it to him over the problems with the vette. Now he is starting to crack with this latest news. :bowrofl:

You are not getting older, you are getting smarter.

Definitely a shame! I haven't been following the C7 closely, because I can't afford one, but I sure thought they were the car to have. I had only seen positive reviews, stating near supercar quality, etc.
