Also do not dismiss the cost to maintain and repair German cars, it's ridiculous. (And "yes", I speak from personal experience). The cost to insure and maintain a Porsche is substantially more than a Z.

Yeah I can say that when I bought my beater (2001 BMW 530i) just to replace small stuff and basic maintenence it cost me 2.5k. German cars are ridiculous to repair
