This generation will be no exception. Based on those renderings, which are very close to the spy shots with camo that have been going around, we will have another that looks... dated... within one to two years of being on the market.

Love or hate Nissan, they have a knack for timeless styles on their performance/halo cars. The first gen Z looks amazing nearly 50 years later, but even the 370Z NISMO from this year with its enhancements still turns heads and gets people asking questions - it's fresh enough looking to where I want one. The R34 GT-R is going on 20 years old and it looks better now than it did when it was new and manages to look better than many of the overstyled sports cars out today.

That type of timelessness with the styling hasn't been done on a Camaro since the late 60s. Ford, however, has executed that type of styling with the new Mustang, IMHO. Fresh looking car - a true evolution. This Camaro looks like it was a variant of the last generation that got turned down.

Maybe that will change when I see it in person.

Performance wise - I love what they're doing. They're driving the competition and moving the needle. The past couple years with the pony car battle royale have been entertaining as hell. We've gotten GT500s, Hellcats, Z28s, ZL1s, GT350s, Super Snakes, and then on the outside of that we have gotten GT-Rs, Z06s, Vs, etc. It's definitely a great time to be a performance car fan.
Styling-wise, none of the muscle cars can hold a candle to the Z, Even the old 2009-2012 Z's look more exotic than any of the muscle cars.... as it stands right now, none of the muscle cars have visually blown me away, but check out the performance expectations of the Camaro and this car is undeniably revolutionary in terms of performance, while the other muscle cars are evolutionary in performance.
