..would be funny if I was fat my friend, unfortunately I lift weights and I'm a little broader than most people. The seats of the Z hug me tight enough but I can lift my leg to place it on the ground whenever I want to exit the car without having to use my hands to make my knee reach my chest

Thats exactly what I did. A loaded 3.8 with 8 speed auto. Absolutely awesome for my crazy commute for a DD. And I dare say, its quicker than the 370Z at speed too, say 45mph+. Other than that, its a bit behind the 370 in EVERY performance category i can think of. But comfort, tech and power for the this price is unbeatable.
