but it's grown on me and now i frikken luv the entire look of the car! |
out of curiosity, why choosing between only these 2? 4 seats?
|
I saw a RCF outside work a few weeks ago. (Toyota/Rexus HQ is down the street)

now that i think about it these are expensive cars for daily drivers, i'd rather just get a camry or accord |
M4. End .
|
You can get a much faster car for the same price / cheaper : /

as for me getting a lexus, i dont need a faster car than my Z. she is fast enough for street for me. anything faster would be too boring to drive.

for the price of a m4 and rcf, the new stingray z06 will run circles around them and start at a cheaper price point than the rcf and similar price to the m4. heck the stingray z51 would be quicker too and cheaper. They are built very nicely if you had the chance to check one out. While this is opinion, and its different, I like the look of the Vette more than the 2 cars in question. |

For pure muscle/speed the corvette definitely wins. As a fun/fast/refined daily driver, I think Lexus and BMW has it beat all around in my opinion. |
i dont care to do circles while going to work..
i do enough of that AT work... :ugh2: |

I don't care to own a Corvette. But then I'm biased because I've never cared for them (and the grey haired men I always see driving them :icon17:) |
i think the new vettes are nice.
but i dont want a vette right now. i want a nice dd. something that looks more in line with who i am vs my fit. :ugh: |
your arguments are valid but not really hitting the point. The Op said, which would you buy and why. my question was why limit to these 2. The OP did not point out daily, 4 seats, track car etc. Thus I raised the question of the vette. It is a very comfy daily driver from my friend who has one. and being in it was very comfy. (Mag ride is pretty awesome). Friend who has it says its his most fun car yet (370z, cayman, etc etc hes had before in the last 4 years).

The Lexus forums was guessing around $75k. At that price point, I'd consider it. |

I'm hella-JDM-yo when it comes to buying Japanese cars. Zee Germans haven't learned yet... Zee Germans make the best driving machine *while there's a warranty* Toyota/Rexus makes an ok driving machine... That works forever. |
dooood, i just realized the IS has a manual mode via shift lever too (not just paddles)! watching vid...
so i can shift while making a left-hand turn without getting all twisted out of shape. :D |
How about wait a little and get the Toyota ft1 which should be the best choice.
