I'm wondering what went on, it KINDA SOUNDS like the lambo was going fast... But at point of impact it seems like it should've been able to stop without going airborne

Regardless of the lambo's speed, that minivan should've looked to see if anyone was coming! On top of it, that van pulled into the far lane (CLEARLY they we're not giving a rats *** if anyone was coming). I would be astonished if it wasn't totaled.

Edit, might be wrong on the far lane statement, a bit confused on the lanes there...
