My WS6...
Awhile back I was told that I would never boost the Z. Well they were right. After an unreal ordeal with a kit that never happened. It was hard to convince the wife that not all vendors are bad guys. I never could again.
But I've been dying to get back to the track. The passion we have as car enthusiast will never die. My love knew that and surprised me with this find. A 2002 WS6 out of Arkansas. Engine mods: Mahle forged pistons Comp star rods Arp head studs All arp hardware used. 241 heads Dual gold springs TR cam 230/236 592/602 112lsa Qtp long tubes True dual exhaust dumped under car Ron Davis radiator Induction: D1sc head unit Custom fmic keeps fog lights. Vortech bov Aster tensioner/bracket Has autometer boost fuel pressure and water temp Fuel: Dual intank walbro 255s -8 feed like -6 crossover between rails Aeromotive fuel filter Speed inc fuel rails Siemens 60lb injectors Edelbrock boost referenced regulator Also uses a Hobbs switch for second pump. Alky control meth setup running 100% meth Drivetrain: Strange Dana 60 rear 4.11 gears Eibach 1.25 lowering springs Bmr adjustable panhard bar Sphon sub frame connectors Sphon lcas Sphon adj upper control arms. Billstein shocks Carbon fiber driveshaft Stage 5 monster clutch Trans built with upgraded syncros and forks. Here's my best run first time at the track, on this run I lost traction after I shifted to second but kept it in the groove. Watch "11.10 @ 115" on YouTube 11.10 @ 115: http://youtu.be/bYZPR-q3plA We did pretty good but I need more seat time. I'm sure I'll break into the 10's soon. Just wanted to share with you guys! ^^ Very sweet build
I was kind of sad that the Camaro came back to life, but not the Firebird. I always loved them as a kid.

Thanks guys I appreciate it.
They have some trans am "mock ups" but personally I think they ruined it. Watch "Sneak peak at a one off custom Trans-Am and GTO C…" on YouTube Sneak peak at a one off custom Trans-Am and GTO C…: http://youtu.be/gy1mmHOK5sU Sent with TapAhoe

Well done! I had a 2001 ws6. Looks solid, but the trap speed is extremely low. Didn't watch the video though. We're you on the brakes going through the traps to sandbag the mph? Stock they trap around 104 to 107 and cam only is is ally 112 to 116.

No I was in it the whole way, I spun in second. We have another clip from the starting line and you can see where the car slides to the right when I shift then slides back into the groove. I'll try to find that vid. Getting with the tuner here in a week or so we noticed that all my gauges are either running behind our fast. Like my boost gauge is reading 17 when I'm only pushing 11. My tach is way behind, and my water temp is reading a temperature double of what it really is.
I need a driver mod also.... LOL Sent with TapAhoe

I'm switching to a T400 and 28" DR next year hopefully that'll solve some traction issues
