In any case, this source tells the masses at The Mustang Source that the 2011 Mustang's 3.7-liter V6 will be rated at 315 horsepower
then i think if it keeps its curb weight of 3400 lbs might be a nice car.

some how i picture a lot of v6 mustangs revving there engines at me now.

it also reminds me of intel only releasing CPU"s when they felt like it, then AMD come around and all of a sudden intel has to release to compete.

okay going to stun you with my awesome ricer math hehe.

V8 GT = 3534 pounds
370z sport = 3355 (courtesy of edmunds)

Now imagine a mustang v6 at 3400 pounds with 315hp

my original point was a lighter version of the car with more power = kind of nice.

im not saying the mustangs wont be nice but i doubt ford will be able to deliver one with that power at that weight final production add around 300-400 pounds because they'll want to make it look pretty and have little road noise.

What is more interesting, is the new 5.0 Coyote. Might prove difficult for me to overlook...

A mustang has to have a 5.0 or larger engine to even warrant a visit to the dealership for me.
