Doesn't the Porsche TT have 4 seats? I have a friend with a 2013 911 4 and it has a back seat or at least something that wants to be a back seat when it grows up!

Purely subjective, but of those I would get the GTR followed by the Porsche. I've never been a fan of the Mustang or vette. I know the C7 is a performer, but it doesn't have the sexy factor for me.
I did notice a few concerns with parts and maintenance cost. If you have the money to shell out for a car in this power caliber (or modify the Z up to this caliber), the maintenance/operating cost should not be of much concern. If it is, perhaps you should reconsider the price point. |

Agreed. I was referring to after purchase. If you've decided that you can buy an $80-$100k GTR/911/etc, you shouldn't really fret about the operating/maintenance costs.

I'm not too familiar with GTR maintenance costs...but I read that the whole car does run very hot.
Is it because of that which requires more frequent fluid changes or does the GTR require Nissan specific fluids with no alternatives?

If you are dead set on getting something then get a GT-R but just be aware that your insurance might go through the roof. If you are only driving 1,000 miles a year maintenance won't be an issue at all.
If it was me I wouldn't make any rash decisions for awhile, just see how things work out and decide down the road rather than rushing into debt again like kenchan suggested as well |

And thank you Kenchan.
I am in no rush to get into any kind of debt. Hence why I asked for all of your inputs.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: Sent with TapAhoe

The GTR is a good choice, maybe a used 911. Quote:
to be honest, when you have a sports car that its value is in the 100k range, the cost of the maintenance will not be cheap. I read through the thread and notice you just recently got to a better position financially, if you are going to purchase a new car, yes it's an upgrade and it's a reward to yourself but are you sure you wanna put yourself into bigger car-loan aka bigger payment?? Plus all the extra cost on the maintenance on those kind of car.... why dig a hole when you just filled one...? you just got promoted and your wife got a raised and your debt is down to 2k, I will suggest you don't change the way you spend, thus you will start to have some savings in your bank account. Trust me, you'll be much much much happier to have a decent amount of saving in the bank account than to drive a 911. car wise, stick to the Z and put some money in to mod it, step by step, it won't cost you arm & leg overnight thus it'll be like a mod journey after all, you will have your 700whp Z, which you'll be proud of your own mod-project, AND you have a good lump-sum of saving in the bank account, which gives you much more options on what you can/want to do in the future.
