G37s LSD

Does anyone know if you can swap the G37s Complete LSD differential into the 370z? From picks it looks like the driveshaft mount is different, but it looks like it

Why sould you swap with a 37 lsd. Look into an after market lsd like Carbonetic or Quaff?
My Carbonetic ran me $1800 installed.

Because it's like 450 bucks and I have a base z. I think that's Big Bang for the buck. I can get a standard diff, and see how the car reacts to the gear ratio difference as an added bonus. I can freshen it up and put a cooler on it.

VLSD is complete junk. Waste of time, better to save your money.

They are compatible as long as the diff from the G37 came from a 6MT. The auto Gs have a different flange. IMO, for a street application the OEM VLSD will do just fine. I picked up a low mileage VLSD from a forum member here and freshened it up with Redline oil and Whiteline bushings. It IS a good bang for the buck if you are a base or base/touring like myself.
$450 vs $1,100-1,800
That's a BIG jump for folks just looking to get off that open diff.

It would be nice if Nissan quit screwing around with the VLSD and put a real LSD in the car with the sport package. The extra money it would cost would be well worth it. The VLSD is just half-a$$ed.
