toyota FT-1 concept (possibly next Supra)
Certain parts yes...some stuff no.
But it is a concept so hopefully it is refined a little but comes out strong. |
Toyota is back!!!!
In this case I'm glad concepts never make it off the production line with the same look. To speak so highly of the Supra and how much it was thought of during the design breaks my heart a little.
That car is timeless and so iconic that seeing this with its named mentioned so much sucks to me. It isn't how I picture a modern Supra at all. Had they just released it as a ground up new sports car I may not feel as odd about it. Setting those feelings aside I can say I'm happy to see how passionate the designers are about getting a new Toyota sports car on the market. |

Back I can barely deal with. The front... :barf:
Woops!!!!
Love it. Although with that roofline, haunches and profile I can't help feeling like this is what the next RX-7 should look like.
Toyota fail. Lets put a bunch of non-functional vents in the car, increase drag just because it looks cool. Their designers need to take a few class in fluid dynamics.
Keep in mind it's still a concept. I'm just pleased they kept it as a FR instead of 4WD. IMO it looks pretty badass.
Finally! Toyota is coming back with a sports car :woot:
I'm drooling all over that steering wheel and the HUD! Looks totally like a Ferrari.
it does seem like a small car on video, so I suppose that is not going to be a super car with >6 cylinders? It seems like a 4 cylinder perhaps with a TT? |
Iam guessing around 100k... I don't like being able to see the fans in the front...
