There is no chance this will be in 40K range. If it is it definitely won't have the grunt to back up those looks.
I would be very content with a 911/gtr fighter.

Guys, it not going to look like that exactly.
They don't need another unafordable halo car that can't beat the GT-R anyway. The Supra in the late 90's cost betwen 32 and 45K; in todays dollars that's 40K and 65K respectively. Those values mean, N/A = slightly pricey Z fighter, turboed = pricey Nismo fighter, both with no real competitors (the tuboded straight 6 not quite keeping up with the slightly more expensive blown US Pony cars that will have poorer fit and finish.) I could be wrong, but a little too much money for a little too little car is what they did with the FR-S (that might change once the idx comes out...), and is probably the model they'll follow here. So something in the 40 to 60 range is totally do-able for something that looks good and performs well without totally pricing itself into extinction when faced against the higher end Mustangs and Camaros or being a joke vs. the (now 6-figure) GT-R. Building a cheaper LF-A to result in a GT-R priced car will sell no cars. The latest GT-R is FASTER than their halo LF-A at a fraction of the cost.

I really wish this goes into production, though I doubt this will be a GT-R fighter. It's probably going to be priced between the GT-R and the Z. Hopefully the next Z moves up in performance to compete with this Supra, if that's the case.

Required crash test, pedestrian bump test, etc. This is why we such radical concepts but they they have to add all the safety features in and alter aero pieces to meet standards. I believe it is the new Kia sports car that the lead guy said, we did not even think about that yet for the concept. Once we get the 100% go, we will go back and add in safety and other requirements while trying to minimize changes.
