It's disgusting news. Another company turning into Toyota before our very eyes.

It seems this is the way most car companies are going.. However its not like they have put out a good rotary engine for quite some time.

The RX8 is no RX7.....

Exactly why I got the Z. I have a Toyota Camry and before that had a Toyota Corolla. ALL CARS LOOK THE SAME. The new Mercedes CLA250 looks like my Camry, the BMW 3 series looks like my Corolla, and all the other makers, unbadged, look like the same darn car. Had a buddy who had the RX7, great car.

It's just sickening design language is getting so watered down, most cars within a brand now all look the same, and affordable sports cars have pretty much disappeared. Seems enthusiasts aren't being given much consideration anymore. The latest blow being the "new" WRX that was just unveiled which outside of a new front end, barely looks any different than the current one, and this after Subaru was getting everyone riled up with that concept telling everyone the production model would be close to that.

Actually, THIS is the saddest news I got today.
