Based on the accompanying marketing vid -- if they can pull off the smartphone-esque customization options, it will be full of win to the next generation of car buyers.
On the other hand, Scion sort of tried this gimmick, and in the end, you are still stuck with picking from what's on the lot... If they can make this work and keep the costs down, good for them. On the other hand, they will still be limited in terms of what they can offer power and handling wise because of safety/emissions issues, so I wonder just how much "i" the idx will really provide...
