Tremtek TKO 600 5-speed manual w/ master shift paddle shifters

g96818 08-14-2009 06:10 PM

o i see it now, but imo paddle shifters aren't considered manual

looks a hell lot better than the 2010 mustang

GMZ 08-14-2009 06:16 PM

No problem mate. By the way, it's a 67 in case you're curious :tiphat:

It's got a clutch. Probably the closest thing I've ever seen without it actually being a manual.

CBRich 08-14-2009 10:16 PM

There's a rear diff in my car.

zZSportZz 08-14-2009 10:19 PM

Need to clean myself up now.

BMW Killa 08-14-2009 10:49 PM

That may be the sexiest mustang ive ever seen

Togo 08-17-2009 06:33 PM

Lug 08-18-2009 10:11 AM

The only other current mustang that gets me going is the Iococca Limited edition:

http://image.automobilemag.com/f/new...th-edition.jpg

Mildly supercharged to 400 hp.

frost 08-18-2009 07:36 PM

^ looks a little plain to me, but I can see why people would find it appealing.

kgreen 08-18-2009 07:37 PM

ugly wheels on the Iococca

Mike@Blackline 08-18-2009 08:28 PM

Take a look at the big box sitting on top of the trans in the back seat. I'm guessing this means it's a modified standard...?

i saw that and the stickers on the box. i guess you just put the clutch in, paddle shift, and then balance the gas and clutch? just like a normal tranny i guess but it just seems so different haha. i guess thats why it confused me at first

frost 08-18-2009 08:38 PM

Pretty weird, but I don't mind it. best of both worlds.

CrownR426 08-28-2009 07:59 PM

My friend is trying to get the 5.0 next year.
I hope it doesn't make it. lol

Matt 03-26-2010 08:14 AM

That may be one of the sexiest cars *period*, that I've seen.

Pharmacist 03-26-2010 06:01 PM

how is that transmission supposed to work? so the driver pushes the clutch and then pulls the pedal, so an electric motor physically moves the shift lever to switch gears? is that it? what's the point of that? it's not like a proper automated manual gearbox that actually saves time and speeds up shifting. or did i misunderstand the whole thing?

also, i wonder how fast can this car take corners :stirthepot:

sobewebmaster 03-27-2010 03:25 PM

Just wow.... I have a newfound respect for the Mustang name. Absolutely beautiful

Zerafian 03-28-2010 06:30 PM

I like how it goes up to 210mph but the speedometer only goes to 160, I assume theres a digital one somewhere.

Its an interesting looking mustang all I would say is to paint all that mesh black. The sound that comes out that thing would make me wet my pants for sure.

Probably the huge computer in the center console.

I like the mesh the way it is because it compliments other items, like the wheels, quarter window frame, door handles, and exhaust

Or a copy thereof. Nice find. I like these old school cars. Too bad there isn't a vid of one. Would love to hear the sound of this beast.

It's been a while, but I think the info on it said it's an actual 67.

IDK, that's a lot of cash, but then again, every single nut/bolt part was custom fabricated and built from the ground up, it's even got a hidden roll cage :-)

I find it hard to believe that the body and frame is actually from 1967, and then someone did all of that. I WOULD believe it if the car was a replica made with modern parts and technology to make it look like the older version.

EXTERIOR (OVER 18 ONE OF A KIND BODY MODS):
:D I still don't see how they can really call it a 1967 Mustang. It would be easy to design the body style and customize it like the list states, put all new parts to bring it into the 21st century, and just call it the SG-One Mustang.

The Charger is back, but it's not referred to as a 1970 or whatever.

My point is that it looks like they used the 67 body style as the foundation for creating a new and improved retro Mustang.
