Changing the HP of the car doesn't change the positioning in the market . The Z has been, and will continue to be, a more affordable sport car. You can get 80% (subjective but ball park) of the experience for a lower price then its peers.
Comparing a normal Z to say a Cayman S is a valid comparison even if list prices are a bit off the charts for zee German (and that's just the market: they can get it so they have very high profit margins). CPO is where it gets interesting...I know ![]() The GTS will be a great track car, or a car inflate the confidence of men with wee willie syndrome, but other then that, I see it as a very strange change of pace for Porsche. The Cayman has been a neutered platform so as not to infringe on the holy 911: why change that now? - b |
