822hp GTR!!
We’ve been following the progress of the Trust GReddy TD06-20G turbo kit for a while now, thanks to Garage Saurus, and today we’ve learned cold hard numbers on what the kit can do.
On Trust Japan’s dyno, running 22 psi of boost and completely maxing out the Bosche injectors they’ve managed to pull off a 834ps (822hp) run at all four wheels. Other components upgraded for the run were the intercoolers, utilising the Trust GReddy Type06-R Intercooler kit. Quite an upgrade from where they started with “just” the 650ps output from Garage Saurus original basic performance upgrade components back in January. i know hennessey is very unliked, but they have a similar turbo setup....i wonder how much they are putting down.

cool, but.... this has power too !
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...fan-Engine.jpg give me a reliable NA any day over 22psi car that blows up in any real world test |
ouch. i think it can handle it tho. i mean they would definitely have to upgrade the clutch and put a set of those PPG gears in there, but that should be good to roll

that would be a must |
MC. i know it said wheel hp in the article, but im having doubts just like the other guys. i dont see gaining that much from turbos...look at ssp ams and switzer for examples. i mean i know its a totally different setup, but damn. none of the supporting mods are there, as far as i know. plus, a 650 hp on stock turbos...ehhhhhhh. thats higher than ams now. either way, it's still a crazy amount of power. i want to see real results, like trap speed or 1/4 mile runs...or even those russian guys doing their races.

i dont know much about that car other than just following in the blogs like everyone else. i know of 600-650 whp GTRs all day... but you know thats 200 more with different turbos and I/C. i guess we'll have to see more news on it
