Hyundai... 3 series fighting RWD compact sport sedan?
Hyundai's at it again... They want to build a compact RWD sport sedan to be released after the genesis coupe redesign. Check out the scoop.
Hyundai to overhaul lineup, add rear-wheel drive sport sedan in coming years - Autoweek If the next gen-gencoupe becomes a true competitor? That sport sedan will probably be a hit as well??? But if the gencoupe is still a more budget friendly sport coupe? So will the new hyundai sedan... We'll have to see which way hyundai goes over the next 2 years??? Just adding this older thread so others who don't know can see where hyundai is going with the gencoupe as well. http://www.the370z.com/other-vehicle...9-concept.html |
Not really a fan of the manufacturer, but their efforts have certainly paid off. They are steadily improving and people are taking notice. Kudos to Hyundai .

I personally am a fan. But i just am not ready to purchase a hyundai sports car just yet. I have expectations from sports cars they have yet to achieve... BUT the strides they have made in a short time are highly admirable and i don't rule them out as a possible future purchase.

i just can't see myself buying hyundai's.
i rather just spend the money and buy the real thing. |
I suppose people felt the same about Datsun back in the 60s. Hyundai just needs to continue what they're doing. People will buy as long as they keep producing quality vehicles.

Parents have the new santa fe sport 2.0T. And that things pretty damn awesome. Nothing comes close to it for the price / features and comfort. |

is the Z a copy of the porsche? you really think that? you must not know porsche all that well. have you driven a 911 turbo? i have. it's like comparing apples to oranges and calling them both the same fruits. :ugh: both have 4 tires and a steering wheel. they must be exactly the same! :rofl2: you fit the hyundai demographics well. i was originally in the market to get a GTR... Hyundai is targeting the market of the 3 series, not copying it. Nissan targeted the porche's with their sports car. Aka you have a poor man's porche. I know you get it... I know your not stupid. you just act like a jerk. but thats okay too. its nice to hide behind internets. |

The 3series isn't what it was. I'd rather a Cadillac ATS.... So is the ars a copy?... Lol. If it is? I don't give a f..., it's still the better car. And yes I drove em both.

hyundai reminds me of samsung
nobody gave a sht about them 15 years ago now everybody loves their products |
What you will get is a Hyundai rear wheel drive compact sedan. No more no less. Best leave BMW out of conversation as it doesn't belong there.
Sort of reminds me of when Hyundai took V8 sedan and raced a 2.7 liter porsche Boxster to prove they had a fast car 0 to 60? Hyundai as a manufacturer isn't rooted developing performance oriented cars. Korean culture in general doesn't have many motor sports enthusiasts compared to other cultures. Why would anyone expect them to make an exciting car? They have marketing wings in US who help dress up the pigs of cars they make with skirts and lipstick but let's get real, Hyundai isn't going to make a credible 3 series alternative anytime soon. |
