They are just big names. I'm sure MT and C&D are paid extra to give them high-praise. They told of the BMW 1 series as being track worthy. I drove one. Thought I was going to roll it around the first s-curve. It was pathetic.

Interested. Ty!
I'll attach a pic at the bottom.

They also have a factory-option blacked-out grille. I will be one of those getting this option.

I looked at the Q50 this weekend at my local dealer. The roofline is a little high for my tastes (very tall side glass to my eye), but that is just my opinion. Otherwise, the car is solid. The lines are great (need to see it in person because pictures don't do justice with this car).

I wouldn't mind trying one out. Don't know that I would ditch my Z for it though. I have the benefit of being short so I don't worry about interior space as much
You're lucky you're short. I'd certainly keep my Z otherwise.

I hate paying double the property tax so I'm a one-car guy right now.

Absolutely. And if anyone noticed my initial "review", it wasn't really a review. It was simply a very subjective take on a brand new car to the market that was enough to impress me even after the many new cars I've test driven lately. I don't agree with most of the reviews in the mags and I think they are mostly crap so I would expect anyone to think the same about any attempt I would have to give a real review as well. So why bother? Go drive one and see for yourself!

The Q50 is gangsta. I love the Godzilla eye headlights.

Motor Trend Review

Hi expectations from MT but pleased with speed and power. MT was clearly harder on the brand and deservedly so. It is hard and takes a lot to go after well established brands like BMW and Mercs. I understand what MT is saying about the need for infiniti to be clear on what they intend the car to be.

As for the motor - would love to see this on a Z. The Q was a tad under 3900 lbs. so just imagine that.
