I was so close to buying one of those instead of the Z. If they had backed off the price a little, there would probably be one in the garage. I just couldn't pay $70k+ for a GM product.

DCNISMO 11-08-2013 09:56 AM

You can get lightly used ones for say....45 to 55K now, new ones around low 60's if you look around. I got a my V sedan last year, an 09 for 43K with 19K miles. I;, a bit too tall for the coupe, I sat in one and its not a good fit for 6'4" and above.

Two years ago, I couldn't find a dealer who would go lower than $70 for one with the Recaros.

You have to get the Recaros for sure.

2014 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe review notes,pricing,specs,photos - Autoweek

This is the last year for the V2 as a 2014 model. The next one will edge 90K or so and I doubt it gets a real 6 speed. But there is hope as the C7 has a 7 speed. I saw one last week with the Z51 package and a seven speed. Talked to the owner for a while and got him to open it up as he left. It has the dual mode exhaust and damm that sounded nice when he kicked it in. The C7 will be my next car after the V.

Good to hear from a member who has actually driven one, thanks DLSTR. I'll be doing some test driving this weekend. Thanks

I think you will like it, I know I did. The Panamera is a little different looking but I have found it looks amazing in certain colors and goofy in others. The wife and I have been testing driving a few different vehicles and the Panamera S is high up on our list.

It seems like the CTS-V has become the new douche bag car. The last few I have seen on the road definately seemed like they had a chip on their shoulder.

OK so I think I just really liked seeing it on the interstate more than actually driving it. It just isn't something I could see myself happy in on a day to day basis. Too big for just me and my gear:, but would be an awesome car to travel in if I needed something that big. Just a bit too much body for me, but gorgeous. I'm headed to Clearwater tomorrow morning, the Audi dealership just got in their 2014 RS5's, it is one of my two choices. :ughdance:

1) Save money for another year or two
2) Wait for new NSX, R36 GT-R, LF-LC to come out
???
Buy one of those :icon17:

e: or a 911 turbo :yum:

not wanting to spend more than 70k, i think the only thing in ur suggestions with a backseat is the GTR and that is about 40k out of my price range.

How is your workout regimen coming along? send me updated pics;)

chk your email. You really do not have much to choose from with a v8 and knock out caddy's, chevy's, and the pony. Once you do that, it takes you to the old people cars like the big sedans. You can get an M5 and juice it up some more. At 75 with a usable back seat, non American, you're looking at Euro Sedans. Narrow's it down quite a bit and not reliable. I did not mention this on my email but if you are open to it, Galpin Auto Sports will build you a 1000 HP Shelby Cobra for $68-73K. Upgraded injectors, intakes, big superchargers, brakes, suspension, and widebody with light wheels to go with it. 0-60 in 2.2 seconds and have a backseat. It looks mean and when you are on the street, cars will bow their heads. Galpin is only 20 minutes from where I live and have seen their work.
