lil 370 competition coming out soon

If a current BRZ costs $26k, I would have no doubts an STI version would run $8k more. Brakes, tires, wheels, upgraded internals, larger radiator, oil cooler, upgraded and strengthened

If a current BRZ costs $26k, I would have no doubts an STI version would run $8k more. Brakes, tires, wheels, upgraded internals, larger radiator, oil cooler, upgraded and strengthened suspension components, as well as the drivetrain. Throwing an extra 100hp on a car requires a massive overhaul. This would of course would cannibalize sells of the current STI. People can argue that companies are slapping turbos on these cars left and right, but they don't have to worry about OEM reliability.

I don't see the brz hurting the wrx at either trim level. They're very different cars.

I could see a price tag around mid 30s, and the car would have to keep up with a z and maybe a cayman to compete.

Maybe it's more so the whole Corvette / Camaro relationship. Subaru may find it too close to their halo car.
